GLAT project members have organized Code Club workshops that will be held during next several months for students from two primary schools in Rijeka. By organizing these workshops, projects members continue with activities that promote creative and visual creativity and logical and algorithmic thinking.
One workshop will be held at the Department of Informatics – University of Rijeka for students from the Vladimir Gortan Primary School who will be learning programming language Scratch. The second workshop will be held at the Trsat Primary School. Students will be learning to code in HTML and CSS.
In addition, winter programming workshop was organized in the Vežica Primary School during the school break. At the workshop, students were creating projects in Scratch based on Code Club materials.
