The workshop “Game based learning and unplugged activities” was successfully held at the University of Rijeka, Department of Informatics on 5th and 6th of April 2018. The workshop gathered focus group of 24 junior grade teachers from 13 primary schools.
During the workshop, the teachers attended lectures, demonstrations and participated in individual and group activities. They started to develop innovative ideas for learning scenarios that will include unplugged activities in different school subjects. In the following weeks, teachers will be designing learning scenarios for encouraging algorithmic thinking with the help of online mentoring by the GLAT project members.
